The Fort Lauderdale Garden Club, Inc. is an organization committed to:

treesand the study of plant life

To stimulate the knowledge and
love of gardening.

To assust in preserving our environment
& the beautification and safety
of Florida Highways.

Horticulture Education & Floral Design

We are instrumental in the placing of the
Blue Star Memorial on our Highways.

We maintain a Speaker Bureau & encourage Bird Habitats.

A lovely Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden surround
our headquarters in Birch State Park.

The Fort Lauderdale Garden Club
has maintained the Sensory Garden
at the lighthouse since the garden
was first created.

Most months of the year one of the club's
Circles or MAL groups, visit the garden
and provide services such as weeding,
fertilization, re-planting etc.




We support the partnership between
National Garden Clubs and Habitat for Humanity by
donating monetarily and physically
by joining with volunteers from other organizations in landscaping
Habitat homes in Broward County.


In the year 2006, the Club was recognized for their ongoing work
and was awarded the Emerald Award Broward County's highest environmental award.
