The Fort Lauderdale Garden Club’s most recent flower show was held in February 2025.

Our flower show theme changes every year to stimulate the creative energy and imagination of our members. Our 2025 theme was “Movies with Rhythm,” and we all had fun rolling out the red carpet for our members and guests. We selected titles from movies with music and dancing, and featured flower designs, horticulture, botanical arts and educational exhibits with this theme in mind. ​

We had flower designs inspired by a variety of movies, including Yellow Submarine, Jungle Book, Barbie, Beach Blanket Bingo, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and My Big Fat Greek Wedding. We also had a botanical arts
pressed flower note card division called “Invitation to the Movies.” Members enjoyed crafting note cards that captured the spirit of the silver screen using pressed flowers from the garden.​
