The Fort Lauderdale Garden Club (FLGC) members work with elementary,
middle & high schoolstudents and instruct them on growing their plants
and creating artistic designs. The plants and designs are entered
in the Youth Flower Show.

The children who score the highest points on their entries in the Youth Show are offered camperships
(camp fee and bus transportation for a week) to Camp Wekiva. This program is underwritten by the FLGC
and its members. Camp Wekiva is located in Apopka, Florida, see bottom for a link to Camp Wekiva's website
